Haley and Kevin’s fall wedding at Historic Ashland was light and elegant with a rustic vibe!

I always love getting the back story from my couples on how they met, where they had their first date, and how the proposal happened!

Haley and Kevin met at Mansfield University where they both attended college. They shared a group of mutual friends. Their first official date was in the small town of Wellsboro PA, where they went out to see a movie, and as the saying goes, the rest is history!

Seven years later, on Haley’s 26th birthday, Kevin proposed. Kevin took Haely out for a romantic dinner and after dinner suggested they go for a walk. Their walk led them to the Rose Gardens in Allentown PA. At the very end of their walk, they arrived at the most beautiful part of the gardens and that’s when he proposed! Haley and Kevin’s favorite part about enjoying their engagement was being able to call each other “fiance”! Now, they can call each other husband and wife!

The couple picked Historic Ashland to host their fall wedding because of its elegance and comfort. Haley said that instantly, Historic Ashland felt like home and she knew it was the perfect wedding venue for them! The color palette for their wedding was burgundy, blush & taupe. The rich tones and the lighter tones came together perfectly to create a refined elegant feeling. Their vision for bringing their daydream to life on their wedding day was to keep things simple, light and elegant while adding in a touch of rustic! They definitely managed to make their dream a reality and I can’t wait for you to step into their wedding day through the photos below!
