This summer wedding at Winterthur was a beautiful reminder that with the right team, even unpredictable weather can lead to unforgettable moments.
The morning began bright and sunny, but as the day unfolded, the forecast shifted quickly. Plans were adjusted hour by hour, and portraits were captured in record time between rain showers. Everyone stayed calm, focused, and flexible, allowing the day to move forward seamlessly.
Thanks to an incredible planning team, the bride’s dream of an outdoor ceremony by the Reflecting Pool became reality. Chairs were moved outdoors at the last possible moment, and guests were seated just in time. As soon as everyone boarded the shuttles to head to the reception, the rain began again, perfectly timed.
The reception unfolded under a clear tent, glowing with candlelight and string lights as the evening set in. The soft blue and white palette felt timeless and elegant against Winterthur’s garden grounds.
The bride wore an effortlessly elegant A-line gown paired with a cathedral veil, a classic look that moved beautifully through the gardens, while guests truly embraced the black-tie dress code, arriving dressed to impress!
