This Bayside Resort Golf Club Wedding was coastal meets chic, and oh so much fun!!!

Jaclyn and Bernie chose Bayside Resort to host their wedding day because of its proximity to Bethany Beach. Jaclyn describes Bethany Beach as her happy place, and with good reason! Every year, the bride’s family takes an annual trip to Bethany Beach. It was during one of these trips that Bernie decided to propose! Bernie took Jaclyn out to a scenic area near her family’s beach house, that overlooks the bay, and there, he asked for her hand in marriage while her family watched from afar from the deck of the house.

In addition to the bride’s love for its location, their venue was also chosen for its clean and modern look. As well as the groom’s love for golf! It’s true! Bernie absolutely loves to golf and is even currently trying to teach Jaclyn how to golf so that they can enjoy the sport together. Bernie’s best man even mentioned how much the groom loves golf during his speech and the fact that Bernie will pretty much golf everywhere he goes. So it was no surprise to me that I found golf clubs in the Groom’s suite!

When I arrived for the day, the bride and her bridal party were in the suite getting ready. Their preparation for the day included singing along to their own selection of music. I knew instantly that they were in for an amazingly fun wedding day!

While they were still in their getting-ready suites, Jaclyn and Bernie exchanged handwritten letters with each other. They each took a moment to read their letters privately. Unquestionably, they were both overcome with emotion at each other’s words. It was truly beautiful to see how devoted they are to one another before their wedding ceremony even began!

Jaclyn walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of white and the softest pink florals. But the way she accented it will truly pull at your heartstrings. Unfortunately, Jaclyn’s brother passed away a few years prior. In order to honor him on her wedding day, she placed a cardinal pin on her bouquet to keep his memory there with her in spirit. It was such a graceful, heartfelt gesture.

After Jaclyn and Bernie were pronounced husband and wife, their guests showered them in a white confetti toss! Wait until you see the moment below! It was so fun and such a great way to kick off the rest of the evening!

The bride and groom wanted the whole vibe of their wedding day to feel like one big cocktail hour! So they skipped the sit-down dinner and delighted their guests with a variety of delicious choices that were set up as food stations. This allowed guests to get on the dance floor quiquer… And once the celebration began, Jaclyn never once left the dance floor!
