Last year, on a very cold snowy day, I met Kacie and Josh at the Wedding Show Behind the Bash which was held at Linwood Estate in Carlisle. I loved meeting them on that day and was very happy and surprised when Kacie contacted me to schedule a consultation!
Josh had just stared a new job and couldn’t join us but Kacie brought her mom along (such a sweet lady that I can’t wait to see again on their wedding day!) and we spent a nice evening talking about their dream day. In the middle of the conversation she said: “Josh started working recently for Tomlinson Bomberger”, well friends, that happens to be my father-in-law’s company! Such a small world!!! I guess that made us feel even more connected!
Last weekend I had the pleasure of seeing them again for their engagement session at Longwood Gardens… Kacie and Josh are high school sweethearts and just one day before, the 25th of January, they celebrated their 12th anniversary!!! How awesome is that? They got to have an engagement session/anniversary session all in one!!!
Josh proposed last September, just before they went to Georgia on vacation. That was enough to surprise Kacie, who was sort of anticipating the question during their trip. Josh had just finished their new deck and hung some lights for Kacie, just as she wanted. She went out with a friend and when she came back, he not only surprised her with the new lights but with a ring!!!
