During the early days of spring of 2018 I remember leaving my house to meet a couple who inquired about their October 2019 wedding. We met at a local ice cream place and talked for awhile. At the end of our time together, I knew I was about to make two new friends.
Last Saturday I arrived at Springside Barn to shoot Megan and Andrew’s wedding and I felt like family! Over the course of the planing months I got to know Megan’s parents, sister and friends through social media, so arriving at the venue it was like I was greeting friends!
But hey, enough about my feelings for these two and their family and friends… This day was all about Megan and Andrew!
Megan and Andrew met online exactly 3 years before their wedding day. Coincidentally, on October 5th, the day of their YES, the app sent Megan a reminder that her account was about to expire! HA, Perfect timing!
Their day was absolutely beautiful, from the gorgeous October weather to the details around the venue! Everything was just perfect and I’m more than honored to be the one they chose to register such a special moment in their lives!
Megan and Andrew, I seriously don’t have enough words to describe how thankful I am for you guys. Thank you for trusting me throughout the entire process and for making me feel so welcome in your special day. You two are so special to me!

- Megan’s dad was telling me how much Megan loved swings when she was growing up. He even got in trouble when he installed a swing for her in their apartment when she was a little. So of course we all cried seeing him pushing his ‘little girl’one last time before giving her away

- Andrew is from Pittsburgh and I love how they incorporated this tradition into their Lancaster Wedding! Such a (delicious) special touch!
