They met through a mutual friend back in 2015. They talked on and off but their story was just not quite ready to start. It wasn’t until a few years later that they met again and started talking. But then, this time around they were really “on”… to the point that Marc and Amy’s 1st date was on Christmas day when they went to mass together followed by a visit to Amy’s family!
If that isn’t commitment, I don’t know what else could be… Oh wait, maybe all the hundreds of miles Marc drove on that weekend to go see Amy! Ok, that’s not only commitment, that’s love!
When the time came, Marc proposed to Amy at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa right before the statue of one of Amy’s favorite saints, St. John Paul the II! So on their wedding day, they wanted to return to the Shrine for their portraits!!!
Last Saturday I wrapped up my 2019 wedding season by registering Amy and Marc’s YES! It was a beautiful day to celebrate their love, faith and friendship!
The entire day was surrounded by prayer and devotion. Amy prayed with and for her friends, family AND vendors!!!
Right before the mass started, the bride and groom held hands, back to back, and shared a beautiful letter to each other followed by a moment of prayer. They shed tears and shared some laughs, and I’m not gonna lie, I cried and laughed all day long too!
Mr. & Mrs. Weilandics, congratulations! You two are one of the most beautiful couples I have ever met. Your faith is inspiring, your smiles are contagious and I am so, so, so thankful to have become friends with you throughout the months of preparation for your marriage! I can’t wait to see how the Lord will use your marriage to bring so many to Him!!!
