Ali & Nick’s summer wedding at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve was so special. To the bride and groom, their family and friends, and also me! I don’t even know how to put into words how special this wedding was!
I met Ali and Nick last summer after Denise, Nick’s mom, hired me to photograph their proposal. Nick took Ali to a local mini-golf place in Lancaster. It was on the exact day that they were celebrating 6 years of being together. The mini-golf location was also the same place they went on their first date. During the proposal, Ali’s smile was radiant. She was so happy and overcome with joy that she was literally jumping up and down! I was pregnant at the time of shooting their proposal and I remember forgetting how sick I was feeling after meeting her. Ali’s happiness to begin this new chapter in her life was contagious!
A few months after their proposal, Ali & Nick booked me as their Philadelphia Wedding Photographer! We met once again but this time for their engagement session. At their engagement session, I met Ali’s parents and their dog, Rylie! The entire family became dear to me. I don’t know how to explain the connection I immediately felt with the Cocco/Russo family. It was one of those feelings that can only be attributed to divine intervention!

After one year of planning all the details, July 20th, their wedding day, had finally arrived. The forecast called for rain, but the sun was shining as bright as the bride.
I arrived at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve for Ali & Nick’s wedding to find an amazing group of ladies getting ready in the bridal suite. The music was playing, and makeup, hair product, and wedding professionals were everywhere. The vibe in that room was just incredible! Ali is so joyful, so of course, her friends matched her energy! I wouldn’t have expected anything less
As for her groom, Nick is one of the calmest people I have ever met in my entire life. He is very soft-spoken and his demeanor will transmit so much peace to you. Even though he’s calm, you could see the joy he had in his eyes and how happy he was to be marrying the love of his life.
The sweet couple’s wedding day at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve began with Ali & Nick saying I do in front of 200 guests on the lawn of Ellis Preserve. They then danced the night away inside the ballroom.
Mr. & Mrs. Russo (woohoo!!!), I wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness. May God bless your marriage and may all your dreams come true together. You are one of the most amazing couples I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Thank you for your kindness towards me and for choosing me to register your YES!!! You guys have a friend in me!!! Congratulations!!!
