Trisha and Kris said, “I DO”! The newlyweds had an elegant black-tie wedding at Ballroom at The Ben in Philadelphia!
The day began at Trisha’s parent’s home in Thornton, PA. With eleven of her closest friends by her side, the bride got ready for her big day. As the bridal party was getting their hair and makeup done, these beautiful ladies greeted me with the biggest smiles. The music was playing loudly and they were all enjoying and celebrating their friend. This celebratory mood started at the very beginning of the day and continued on into the night! As the music continued to play, the bridal party jumped onto the wedding bus, which made its way to Center City Philadelphia.
I made my way to St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Philly. The groom and his eleven groomsmen greeted me upon my arrival. Kris and his friends were standing by the door ushering guests to their seats. Next, Trisha entered the church, arm in arm with her dad. She was wearing an elegant white gown with a veil covering her face. There were so many traditional elements incorporated into their wedding day that were beautifully done. Trisha and Kris said I do during a beautiful Catholic mass which was filled with joy. The mass was presided over by Father Dave O’Brien, who is Trisha’s old high school friend! He had just become a priest 3 weeks prior to the date of her wedding. By his side was Bishop Maginnis, Trisha’s uncle and a retired Bishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Trish and Kris, and 350 guests made up of their family and friends, danced the night away at Ballroom at The Ben. The music of the Ebe Rio band flooded the dancefloor and what a fun reception it was! The dance floor was never empty, the celebration was continuous, and the energy was always high! When Trisha sent in her initial inquiry the email read: “My criteria for a good wedding is 1) good food 2) good music to dance to! I think that Trisha accomplished both of those items!
Trisha and Kris, I’m short on words that express my gratitude for being able to photograph such a beautiful and special day in your lives. You are the most caring, kind, and calm couple I have ever met. It’s clear to see that you are loved by so many, and now you have one more person to add to that list! I hope your wedding day was everything you’ve always dreamed of and more!
