A few months ago I got an email that made me so happy!!! The sender’s last name immediately made me smile sooooo big!!! By the time I finished reading Ilene’s email my heart was already melted… hehe
I met Ilene last year while photographing my dear friends Amy and Marc’s wedding. I met Amy when she inquired with me 2 years ago and since then we have not only become friends but I feel like I’ve become the unofficial wedding photographer of their extended family! (Can we make it official, can I stay in the family forever?! haha) Two weddings down, and now 2 to go… and they will forever have my heart!!!
With that history, of course I felt super honored that Ilene and Mike had chosen me as their wedding photographer *before* they even chose their wedding venue! (say whaaaaaat! 😀 )
When I arrived at their engagement session I felt like I was there to photograph two friends, even though I hadn’t met Mike until then.
What a wonderful afternoon! Ilene and Mike both have this con-ta-gious laugh and I just couldn’t stop smiling and laughing behind my face mask. Their love is so evident and so is their joy!!!
They met 2 years ago in Manayunk and next spring they will say I DO in the same small town that brought them together. And I cannot wait!!!
