When I first talked to Meghan via facetime before she booked me as their wedding photographer I had a feeling I was about to start working with one of the sweetest and most relaxed person ever… Well, when I met Meghan and Nick for their engagement session my feeling was confirmed!
Meghan and Nick (and Mozzie the dog, too!) are just super laid back and throughout the entire planning months, I haven’t heard them complain about anything – nothing! And these two had a reason to complain…
Their wedding day was carefully planned to happen last spring and because of the pandemic, they were forced to reschedule their day to the fall – Thanks Corona!
When they told me about their new date my heart sank and was broken into two. I was already booked for that date and I will admit, I shed a tear or two. I just knew their day was going to be amazing and I selfishly wanted to be part of it!
But I shook it off and put my thinking hat on! And after a few ideas, I was able to hire a team of associate photographers to shoot their wedding day on my behalf.
And I was right… Their day was beautiful and by looking at the photos you can really tell how happy everyone was! Meghan and Nick made such a gorgeous Bride and Groom!!!!
Although I was not able to be physically present, my heart was definitely there with them too! And I’m extremely thankful these two finally had the day of their dreams last Friday, while surrounded by their loved ones.
Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell, I wish you two a lifetime of joy and happiness! May your days together be as bright as your smiles on your wedding day!
