A few months ago I walked into Copper Cup Coffee for a wedding consultation with a prospective couple. We talked for about 1h and I knew it: they were a JTP couple! Megan and Anthony are the type of couple that light up a room with their smiles and their eyes. They are so kind and at the same time fun!
Megan and Anthony met while in college and, before they started dating, they became good friends. They both graduated this past May but they didn’t walk away from campus with just a diploma. She left with a ring on her finger and he with a fiancĂ©!
Last February, while visiting Megan’s family in Carlisle, during spring break, Anthony had it all planned out. One night after dinner, Megan’s dad asked her to go around the neighborhood and walk the dog with him. Meanwhile, Anthony and Megan’s mom executed the plan. He lit up the fire pit, and decorated the patio with rose petals and candles. He then went down on his knee and asked her to be his wife!
Oh boy, I love romantic stories… especially the real ones! Another thing I love? Engagement sessions!!!
Anthony was still living in Ohio and we didn’t think we would be able to schedule an engagement session in time. Luckily, 2 weeks ago he moved to the area and we were able to meet for some pictures. I am so glad it worked out! I love getting to know my couples before their special day and engagement sessions are great way to do that! They chose to have their session at the same place their wedding will take place; Historic Acres of Hershey! It was great seeing Megan light up talking about some details of her special day while walking around the place!
Megan and Anthony, thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer! I don’t take this lightly and I am honored to be able to register your love! I am so excited to see you guys next month and witness your “I DO!”
Here are a few of my favorite photos from this fall engagement session in Hershey, PA. I hope you enjoy!
