Katie and Stan’s Vignon Manor Farm Wedding was romantic and symbolic!
Katie and Stan’s love story all began on a March night in Ocean City when they crossed paths in a dive bar. They were both out for a night with friends to have some drinks and watch college basketball. Katie was in the back, but immediately noticed Stan walk into the bar! She strode over to say hello and Stan was quickly captivated by the dynamic redhead’s personality!
For their first date, the couple met up at a bar to watch another basketball game. They talked all night and immediately clicked with each other. Katie knew instantly that she had found her person!
It wasn’t long before Stan popped the big question to Katie at an outing together at Hopkins Farm Brewery. The couple was covered in dust and paint from the work they were doing on their house. That’s when Katie suggested they take a break. She convinced Stan to go out for a bit and they decided to head to a cute new brewery/farm which was right around the corner. They were sitting at a picnic table listening to live music with the sun setting when Stan asked Katie to be his forever date.
After their engagement was official Katie and Stan felt the excitment of planning their wedding and starting their lives together as a family!
Much like their love for one another, the bride and groom instantly knew that Vignon Manor Farm was the exact venue they were looking for to host their wedding! They fell in love with Vignon Manor as soon as they pulled up the drive to the venue. Kaite and Stan were searching for a wedding venue that was grand and beautiful, but comfortable. Vignon Manor was the perfect vibe for their wedding day.
For their wedding day colors, the bride and groom chose a color palette of ivory, gold, walnut, and pops of pink peonies. The bride confided in me that their decor is a representation of them as a couple. The gold represents Katie and the wood tones represent Stan. They describe it as an unlikely pair that works well together. Isn’t that such a symbolic and romantic way to select wedding decor?!
The wooden lantern centerpieces that Katie and Stan used for their Vignon Manor Farm Wedding were all handmade by the groom! Katie describes Stan as a man who is always working on a project! From working on cars to building anything and everything and now gardening (which he has introduced to Katie!), Stan loves to keep busy.Â
A little bit of rain didn’t stop Katie & Stan’s wedding day from being truly unforgettable! The original plan was to hold their wedding outdoors. But the rain shower from the night before wouldn’t allow it. The couple moved their reception and ceremony inside and that little bit of rain turned their wedding day into a beautiful plan B!
