Victoria & Joe’s William Penn Inn Wedding was a winter wonderland!

The bride and groom are high school sweethearts turned husband and wife! Their wedding day was classic, formal, elegant, and above all else, romantic!

The William Penn Inn, the location they chose to say I do,  is another one of Philadelphia’s charming historic locations! It was founded in 1714 and it is the oldest continuously operated country Inn in Pennsylvania. Over 300 years old and still looking that good, can you believe that?! The Inn offers continental country dining in an utterly elegant setting. Victoria and Joe chose the Inn because they were looking for a classic and elegant experience for their guests.

In true North Eastern fashion, the Inn was fully ornamented in Christmas decor for the holidays. Although Victoria and Joe’s wedding wasn’t held until after the holidays, the decor was still up for their big day, just like Victoria dreamed of! How perfect are those lights for a dream wedding day?! There was rich green garland everywhere woven with twinkle lights and golden leaves of poinsettias. The decor added such a warm and inviting feeling to their wedding day.

The one thing that you need to top off a winter wonderland wedding? A little snow on the ground! On the morning of their special day the grounds were covered by fresh and fluffy snow making the day a real wonderland (or should I say a Hallmark Movie Scene?)

The bridal party came fully prepared with fur shrugs to keep them warm. The texture of their shrugs looked so elegant over their rich silk Jenny Yoo gowns! The bridesmaids all wore black silk gowns and with Victoria in white, it was such a gorgeous contrast!

Towards the end of the night, the newlyweds braved the cold outside for a quick snap in front of the inn. The lights were glowing, the snow was crisp, and there was so much love in their eyes! But, you’ll have to scroll all the way to the end to take a peek at the shot!
