Steph & Phil’s Park Chateau Estate & Gardens Wedding was an utter dream! The fashion, the food, the fun, their wedding day had it all!
The couples wedding day saw rain, all day long! I know what you’re thinking ‘a photographers worst nightmare’ right? No! Their venue is so gorgeous inside. This made it easy to take the majority of their portraits in the grand foyer on the curved stairway! Park Chateau Estate has to be one of my all-time favorite wedding venues to photograph. Did I still try to squeeze in some outdoor portraits for my amazing couple? Yes!! Although I have to say, we were only outside for about 5 minutes before the rain started. And all of the outdoor photos that you’ll see featured below were shot in that timeframe! Thank goodness my couple was so amazing about working around the rain limitations!
When the guests are greeted by a champagne cart you know the wedding is going to be good!

A little bit of backstory on Steph & Phil! Steph has built a career for herself as a nurse. She has a very caring demeanor about her, and a kind word to share with everyone in her presence. Phil is a former NFL player. During his time in the league, he was a center for the Dallas Cowboys. Some of his closest friends from the NFL were in attendance for his wedding. Overall, the bride and groom’s wedding day vision was to have fun celebrating their love! Using this approach to their wedding day made their wedding more than a dream, it turned their day into an experience that was full of delightful surprises at every turn!
The first surprise of the day was a gift from Steph to Phil & his groomsmen. She gifted the guys a custom cigar bar prior to the wedding ceremony!
The biggest reveal of the day was a gown change by the bride! For the ceremony and portraits, Steph wore a gorgeous gown by Tony Ward. It was light, feminine, ethereal, and it had the perfect amount of shimmer and movement to it. But right before it was time to cut the cake, Steph quickly changed to surprise her groom and her guests. Her second gown was a form-fitting Pnina Tornai gown! Pnina Tornai is a highly regarded bridal designer and her couture gowns are known for their exquisite crystal detail! Steph looked absolutely stunning in both gowns! She and Phil and their entire guest list had an incredible time dancing and celebrating to live music by the local band JellyRoll. The energy in the air that night was electric and I feel so honored to have captured Steph & Phil’s wedding day!
