Last Sunday I returned once again to Longwood Gardens for an engagement session. This time I was able to spend the afternoon with Erin and Quinn and get to know them better before their wedding day this summer.

These two are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. Throughout the entire session Quinn kept kissing Erin on her forehead and wrapping his arms around her shoulder to keep her warm. So sweet! I’m not going to lie, my heart melted a few times during their session. Ok, I’ll be honest, a lot of times… You could really feel the love these two share (and see it too!). They care so much for each other and you could notice it in the small gestures. They even brought a thermos with a hot drink to keep warm throughout the session. Aww!

These two beautiful souls met in 2017 after joining CatholicMatch.com. After exchanging a few messages, it was time for them to meet in person and go on a date. Erin mentioned that on that date she knew she liked him… However, a few days had passed and she hadn’t heard from Quinn, so she thought she should maybe move on. But, on the other side, was Quinn, hesitant to call her back because he knew there and then that she was THE ONE! (Did your heart melt yet?)

Last December Erin and Quinn decided to do a 33-day consecration to Mary through Jesus together. For the conclusion of the days of devotion, they did a small pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington D.C. After attending mass and going for lunch with some of their friends, they returned to the church to say their last consecration prayers. When they concluded their prayers, Erin stood up and Quinn knelt back down, but this time on one knee… He asked her to be his wife and she said yes, all in front of the statue of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, to whom they are devoted to!

I told you their story would melt your heart… isn’t it beautiful?

Erin and Quinn, thank you so much for choosing me to register your love. I am honored to be your wedding photographer and to be able to witness your love and devotion to each other and to God. I pray for abundant graces and blessings from our Lord during this time of preparation to receive the sacrament of matrimony. I am so excited to photograph your special day this summer at St. Joseph’s and at Riverdale Manor. I’m sure it will be an amazing day!!!

Here a few of my favorite images from your winter sunset engagement session. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
