I’m sitting here, staring at my computer trying to find words to describe Amy, Marc and their beautiful engagement session… Words can’t really describe how thankful I am for that inquiry I received last year. It brought me a client, someone who inspires me to love Christ more, a friend!
Amy found me on Spoken Bride, a resource for catholic brides to connect with vendors sharing the same faith. On our initial phone call we not only talked about wedding planning, photos and all those things I love, but we talked about life, faith, the church… It was like talking to a long time friend. One of those crazy gentle surprises from God!
Amy and Marc’s story started back in 2015, when her friend’s boyfriend introduced them. They talked for awhile but lost touch. It wasn’t until later, on their friend’s wedding day, that these two amazing people reconnected and have been together ever since.
Their 1st official date was on Christmas day, when they went to mass together. And the proposal? You may ask… also involved their faith! They went to sanctuary of Our Lady of Czestochowa to pray. Marc knowing Amy’s devotion to St. John Paul II suggested they stop by the huge statue of the saint for some prayer. After they prayed together, there was Marc on his knee asking Amy to be his forever bride!!!
Last night we met at Downtown Hershey for their engagement session. I knew it would be amazing, but they blew me away… Their session was so dreamy and fun and it made me literally jump up and down (and sing – yep, I sing my words when I get excited! Don’t judge! hehe)
You can see the highlights of their elegant & romantic engagement photo session below.
Amy and Marc, what can I say other than thank you and thank God!!! You two are so kind, joyful and faithful. Thank you for trusting me during this special time of your lives. I can’t wait for your wedding day this fall so I can spend another day with you!!! I hope you enjoy your photos!!!
