Though excelsior is located in the heart of historical Lancaster, it has a unique atmosphere all its own. The venue’s layout consists of multiple levels, with each level having its own identity! It’s totally up to you to decide how to use each space within the venue on your best day ever. You are open to any selection of rooms where you can get ready, have your first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and dancing!

The cozy bridal suite is the perfect spot to get ready and calm your nerves. You can slip on your dress & veil before meeting your Mr. down the aisle! For the guys, Excelsior lends its basement catacombs to the groom’s party. They can lay back here and sip on their favorite libations while the ladies finish receiving the glam treatment upstairs!
Excelsior also has plenty of available refreshing outdoor space, though it is not covered! Which is something to keep in mind when planning your wedding! Their terrace and garden courtyard are draped with charming string lights. They make for the perfect locations to host your ceremony or your cocktail hour.
In total there are 6 interconnecting indoor/outdoor spaces. You can take your wedding day from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and a “dance the night away” reception! Your guests will have an absolute blast going from room to room. They will enjoy your wedding day as a full-blown experience at this one-of-a-kind venue!
Oh, and I might also know that there is an awesome “top secret” floor with chipped, peeling paint, raw cement, and red bricks. There is tons of natural light pouring into this top-secret one of a kind space!
