This year is going to be remembered by “the year I rescheduled tons of sessions due to bad weather”. No, seriously, most weeks forecast were like “sunny, sunny, sunny, sunny, cloudy, rain, rain”. Hmm not fun when you mostly shoot on the weekends and outdoors!
Well, this past weekend was not different. The weather channel called for a foggy, rainy weekend. What was different? My dear clients Malisa and Tom, who live out of state, were only available to do their session this weekend, so we embraced it!
On the bright side, it was one of the warmest weekends we had in awhile, so that was a plus! But even if that wasn’t the case, this engagement session at Hershey Gardens would be amazing anyway, that I’m sure! All because Malisa and Tom are one of the most joyful couples I’ve ever met!
Their winter session was warmed by their constant laugh and big smiles! We were pretty much the only ones at the gardens at the time and I loved it. We walked all over it like we were shooting in our backyard. Well, that’s how amazingly comfortable these two made me feel!!! Malisa’s parents were also there, smiling from the distance while watching their “little girl” twirling around with the man of her dreams.
Malisa and Tom, thank you again for choosing me to capture your love! I know your wedding day next year at Cameron Estate Inn will be amazing just by watching you both interact with each other and with your family. I seriously can’t wait to celebrate your love with you!
