Toni & Jeff’s Moonstone Manor Garden wedding was fresh and warm with organic touches!

Toni & Jeff’s original wedding plans included a large wedding with an even larger guest list! That plan was to host a big celebration in June 2020. Toni & Jeff met in college and their original guest list included all of their friends & family who had been a part of their journey over the past 10 years. But, COVID quickly shot down their dreams of a large-scale wedding. Having a large wedding no longer felt right to the bride and groom with the ongoing pandemic, so they decided instead to host a more intimate celebration. They gathered with 50 of their closest friends and family to celebrate their love in a garden-themed wedding at Moonstone Manor. The bride and groom later said that they had never felt more loved than they did on their wedding day!!

For her wedding day, Toni wanted to embrace the feeling and vision of the calm that she experiences when she is in nature. To her, that meant planning a garden-inspired wedding day in a light and airy environment. Organic touches included! The color palette that she used to achieve this was warm and full of fresh neutrals. Think: grey, mauve, and golden-yellow, all layered with crisp white! To bring it all together, Toni added textures in the form of glass and wooden and woven accents.

I would describe Toni & Jeff’s Moonstone Manor wedding as timelessly elegant with a twist of relaxed and whimsical!

The bride and groom said I do at the covered chapel at Moonstone Manor! Their lush floral arch wowed all their guests upon sight. The greenery-filled arch and bustling florals brought the outdoor garden feel, indoors!

After they became husband and wife, the newlywed’s guests all enjoyed a delicious and well-presented cocktail hour! To personalize their menu and draw on their garden-inspired theme, Toni and Jeff chose a signature cocktail made with elderflower and prosecco.

Guests began looking for their tables on escort cards that the bride herself designed! Toni then styled the escort cards by placing them on gold flower frog holders. She truly thought about her guests experiencing a garden party at every detail! Once guests took their seats they were greeted by beautiful crisp white linens and varying floral arrangements. The bride and groom also chose to dazzle their couples by adding a freshly baked french baguette with handmade herb butter to the tables, in order to complete the decor!

The day that Toni & Jeff had been planning for so long was finally here and they had one more obstacle left to face, the weather! During their reception, the DJ gathered everyone on the dance floor with contagious, lively music. Meanwhile, a severe thunderstorm and flood warning alarm sounded!! As soon as the thunder stopped, I asked Toni & Jeff if they wanted to brave the storm for a few photos. They didn’t turn down the opportunity to kiss in the rain under clear umbrellas!
