Megan and Andrew’s engagement session at Middle Creek Wildlife is one I will not soon forget. It was the first time a couple didn’t want to reschedule their session because of the rain. I had photographed weddings on rainy days before, but not engagement sessions. Although Megan is originally from Lititz, both of them live in Pittsburgh, and Andrew was eager to return home to his dog and resume working. He joked with Megan that he wouldn’t smile if we rescheduled… since we really didn’t want to risk that, we kept the date! Right Megan?! heheh
The day was grey and dark. We were wet, but really happy!!! Megan brought those cute transparent umbrellas, but decided to ditch them half way through the session. We embraced the wet weather and accepted the day we were given and had fun with it.
We started the session at Middle Creek Wildlife in a field of wildflowers. We then drove to a spot by the lake where Megan usually goes kayaking when she’s in town. That place is so beautiful!!!
Megan and Andrew, if your engagement session was that great under the circumstances of the day, I am sure your wedding day will be THE BEST! I can’t wait to see you guys again and photograph you as bride and groom!
Hope you enjoy seeing a few of my favorite images from your session on this blog post!
