How do I even start this blog post? I’m here smiling so big while trying to find the best words to describe Erin and Quinn’s wedding day. If I had to describe their day in one word, it would probably be JOYFUL. But then I would be missing the “blessed”, “radiant”, “warm” and so many other words that fully describe their special day. See, I can’t summarize it but I’ll give it a try!
Erin and Quinn met in 2017 through CatholicMatch.com. I love how Erin described their story when I asked how they met… “I was a little wary of the thought of online dating, but I thought it was the best way to meet someone who shares my love for our Catholic faith. Within the first few hours on it, I saw Quinn’s profile and he was the only person I had initiated a message to. We started messaging each other and decided to go out on a date. After our second date, I didn’t hear from him–no checking in to see if I made it home after my two hour drive from Lancaster, nothing for three whole days. I had pretty much convinced myself to move along from him. And then he finally reached out with a simple “hey hey”. I almost didn’t answer because I was scared of getting hurt and annoyed at the casual text with no explanation. But, thankfully I decided to go on another date with him! He told me recently how he knew if we went on another date that there was no turning back and that he knew he would marry me. Those three days of silence were him processing that commitment after just our second date!”
Well, as you can see from the paragraph above, Erin and Quinn are a very faithful young adult couple who loves Jesus, Mary and their Catholic faith. And their wedding day showed it through and through. The events started the night before, when together with their guests, they spent an hour in adoration in preparation for receiving the sacrament of marriage.
The day was finally here and it was a hot, VERY hot day! In fact, the hottest day of summer! And despite the brutal heat, you would never see these two complaining. In the contrary, they smiled sooooo big the entire day! it was contagious!!! The love they share was so evident (and you can see proof in pictures below!) They couldn’t help but share kisses all-day-long!!! So sweet!!!
Their reception was so fun and beautiful, and you could feel how much these two are loved! The dance floor was never empty and the live band brought everyone out of their chairs, from the little kids to the grandmas! Ahh, it was a fun night!
Erin and Quinn, I seriously can’t find words to describe how thankful I am for God putting you two in my life! In these past months I did not only gain amazing clients, but I made new friends and I’m forever grateful for that! Your faith and love for each other is inspiring and I know your married life will bring glory to Christ! You guys radiate with His love and everyone around you can feel it!
