When Lauren first inquired with me she said, “Our wedding will have an enchanted, whimsical forest feel and we want our guests to feel like they stepped into the pages of our love story”.
So here is chapter one:
They met back in college while on a cool down run after a workout. That run may had cooled them down from the workout but I bet their hearts are still beating fast when they look to each other these days!
When Lauren and Mike arrived for their engagement session at Marian Coffin Gardens at Gibraltar in Delaware last Saturday, within just a few minutes, I could feel the love they share by seeing the way they look at each other and hold each other’s hands!
Mike proposed to Lauren the summer of last year and the “plot” couldn’t be more romantic. Together with Lauren’s mom and aunt, they told her that her Godson wanted to see her horse. When she arrived, the stable was decorated with lights and there was Mike on one knee with flowers and a ring. And it wasn’t just a standard engagement ring. Her engagement ring was made with Lauren’s grandmother’s diamond!!! What a special touch!
After she said YES, their immediate family joined in for a night of celebration!
Lauren and Mike, thank you for trusting me to register this incredible chapter in your lives. May this “book” have several pages written with moments of joy and happiness. I am so happy for you and so excited to help you illustrate the pages of your next chapter, marriage!
Here are a few of my favorite images from your enchanted, whimsical engagement session! Hope you enjoy them!
