This White Cliffs of Conoy Engagement Session with Jackelyn and Chris was delicate & romantic.
Like so many of my couples, Jackelyn and Chris met in a very modern way. They originally connected on the dating app Hinge. But not in the way you might imagine. It was actually Jackelyn’s co-worker who was swiping through the app for Jackelyn when she happened upon Chris. While Jackelyn was unsure about the match, she decided she would take a chance and set up a first date with Chris. Three weeks after their initial date, the world went into lockdown as the COVID pandemic surged. However, Jackelyn and Chris have been inseparable ever since!
When we met for their engagement session at the White Cliffs of Conoy, they brought along their dog Moose! Moose was positively dapper in a tux collar and black bowtie. But Moose has been involved in Jackelyn and Chris’s story long before their engagement session, in fact, he had a helping hand on the day of the proposal!

One afternoon, the couple, along with Moose, were out for a leisurely scenic stroll along the Manayunk Bridge Trail. As they were admiring the views of the Schuylkill River, Chris was readying himself to put his proposal plan into action. But he needed a little help from Moose! Moose’s job was to busy Jackelyn with the undertaking of finding the perfect stick. As Jackelyn and Moose were adventuring around, Chris took the opportunity to drop down on one knee and ask for Jackelyn’s hand in marriage. Jackelyn was so overcome with joy at that moment, she could hardly recall what Chris said! With a resounding yes from Jackelyn (and Moose), the couple began planning the wedding day of their dreams.
Jackelyn and Chris’s wedding will take place at the Free Library of Philadelphia. The historic building that houses all the great literary classics will transform for an evening to celebrate Jackelyn & Chris. Their wedding day experience will include an al fresco wedding reception, with dinner and dancing taking place on the roof of the grand Beaux-arts-style building. It will all be wrapped with a sweeping view of the cityscape in the backdrop!
