To say that I had a blast with Mary and Bill during their engagement session is an understatement. We met at the Valley Forge National Historical Park, which was the perfect location choice for their photos because, first, hellooo, Valley Forge Park is gorgeous. But most importantly, it’s the place where Bill went down on one knee and Mary said yes to the beginning of their forever together.
The day was cloudy but very hot! But Mary and Bill braced the heat and did amazing during their session (and Daisy did too!!! woof!). I usually warn my couples: “My voice can get a little too high and I may sing my words when I’m excited!” Mary and Bill definitely heard my high pitch during our time together as I excitedly freaked out looking at the back of my camera after every single shot!!!⠀
They may be teachers for a living, but I dare to say they should be models… Don’t you think?
Mary and Bill, you two are an amazing couple and I’m honored to create these tangible memories for you! I can’t wait to see you again and photograph your wedding day next summer at Waynesborough Country Club.
Here are a few of my favorite images from their Valley Forge Park Engagement Session. Enjoy!
