I love a good proposal story, don’t you? Last week I had the pleasure to meet Sarah and Joseph and photograph their engagement session (First one after Civid-19 quarantine, but who’s counting, right? *Insert excitement here!).
We met at Fort Hunter Mansion and Park (one of my favorite locations in Harrisburg), and we spent the evening walking around, getting to know one another while I registered this amazing time in their lives.
When Sarah told me about how Joseph proposed I couldn’t help but smile!
They love traveling and Joseph took Sarah on a trip to Boston for her birthday. She was sure he was going to propose and mentioned it to him. But of course Joseph found a clever way to say “I’m sorry, but I’m not proposing”.
He told her that because his brother had just got engaged, they should focus on their wedding first, especially because they were thinking about a destination wedding.
Sarah believed him and went on to Boston not expecting much…
But then, on a Saturday evening, as they were walking back to the hotel, Joseph saw the perfect arbor decorated with Christmas lights and he went down on one knee and asked Sarah to be his wife!!!
Of course she said YES!!!
Sarah & Joseph, thank you for choosing me to register such a special time in your lives. I’m honored to be the one registering your love in images!!! I cannot wait for your wedding next year at Cameron Estate Inn. I know it will be a perfect day, just like the two of you are together!!!
Here are the highlights of our time together last Saturday! Hope you enjoy!!!
