They met online through CatholicMatch.com back in January of 2017. After a few months discerning her vocation, Christa decided to get to know Rich and they were “a perfect match”! Their love for Christ and the virgin Mary were what brought them closer together. Since the beginning of their relationship, they started a tradition to go to adoration together on a regular basis. So when it came time to propose, there was no better place to do it than at the adoration chapel!
Rich was a little “upset” because they always had the chapel for themselves, but on that particular day, there were a few people around. Rich then stepped out, leaving Christa alone for a few minutes… when he came back he told her “I wouldn’t want moments like this to ever end with you…” Rich went down on one knee and asked Christa to marry him!!! Of course she said YES!!! He was no longer frustrated and he exclaimed in joy for everyone to hear: “Excuse me, I just proposed to my girlfriend and asked her to marry me”!!!! Aww how sweet!!!
Below are a few of my favorite photos from Christa and Rich’s summer engagement session at Longwood Gardens. Even though we got rained out, It was a beautiful summer day! After waiting for the rain to pass, we were able to quickly go around and finish their session. I think I’ve never seen 3 adults so happy to see the rain to pass.
Christa and Rich, It was lovely spending time with you guys and reconnecting after so many years. The rain was a great excuse for us to take shelter and catch up a little. I hope you like your images!!!
